The Homeowner Merge Log can be used to view merged homeowner activity as well as unmerging homeowners. The Homeowner Merge Log can be found on System > Homeowner Merge Log.
Required Permissions
Users will need the View Permission enabled under Settings > Roles > System > Homeowner Merge Log to access System > Homeowner Merge Log.
Homeowner Merge Log
- The Homeowner Merge Log will display all Merged/Unmerged Owners for the selected Date Range.
- The Date Range has the following options available:
- Today
- Last 30 Days. Note: This is the default range.
- Last 60 Days
- Last 90 Days
- Last 180 Days
- Last 365 Days
- Custom...
- The Date Range has the following options available:
- The grid contains the following columns
- Merge Date
- HOID
- Prev HOID
- Status
- Homeowner
- Prev Homeowner
- Property. Note: This column will not be enabled by default.
- Mailing Address. Note: This column will not be enabled by default.
- Days Merged
Unmerging Homeowners
Unmerging Prerequisites
Homeowner that have been previously unmerged can be unmerged as long as all of the following requirements have been met:
- The merge was performed through the Merge Homeowner action.
- The merge is not older than 30 days.
- The merged property has been part of any subsequent merges.
- Note: These are any homeowner accounts that have been merged at least one additional time. These have been excluded to reduce the risk of potential errors that may occur when undoing the initial merge of a homeowner account that has since been merged with another account.
- The status is Merged and not Unmerged.
If the Merged Homeowner has not met all requirements, the Unmerge Property button will be greyed out and unable to be selected.
Example: The first homeowner account can be unmerged because it fulfills the necessary criteria to unmerge the property, unlike the second homeowner account. The second homeowner account has not fulfilled all the requirements so the Unmerge Property button is unclickable.
Undoing a Merge
- Click the Unmerge Property button on the desired homeowner account.
- The Confirm Unmerge form will popup:
- Click Unmerge Homeowner Accounts to complete the Unmerge.
- Or, Click the X or Go Back To Previous Screen to cancel the Unmerge process.
- The Status will have changed from Merged to Unmerged and the Unmerge will be logged as an Activity Note under Homeowners > Activity Notes with the unmerged information.
