When can I make this change?
New Clients: All new clients will start using Vantaca Home as of Jan 1, 2024.
Existing Clients: All existing clients will be able to use Vantaca Home starting Feb 1, 2024. All clients must move to Vantaca Home by June 30th, 2024.
We encourage all clients to adopt prior to July 1, as Home will be getting new functionality throughout Q1 and Q2 that will not be available within Classic or Modern portal. If you have concerns about training homeowners and board members each time a new feature is released, please see the, "What does this mean for my homeowner and board members?" question below.
What will happen to modern and classic portals?
As of July 1st, 2024, Vantaca’s Modern and Classic portals will be sunsetted, and therefore inaccessible to all clients. All homeowners and board members will use Vantaca Home at this point.
What is the effort for ME (the management company)?
Vantaca aims to provide a frictionless transition for all management companies whether you’re moving from Classic or Modern portal. Vantaca will move all your custom content and enable/disable your preferred feature set for you. In addition, we will have homeowner communication templates available that will allow you to pre-inform your homeowners and board members about your upcoming portal change.
Concerned about your need to re-train home and board members at the initial adoption of Vantaca Home or when new features are rolled out? Don’t be! Vantaca Home will not only be more intuitive and mobile-friendly than Classic or Modern portal, but it will also include in-platform training for all homeowners and board members that will guide them on how to take key actions within the portal. This in-platform training will help all your community members to seamlessly adopt Vantaca Home at first login, while also being right there to introduce any new features to them as we continue to expand Vantaca Home in 2024.
What does this mean for my homeowners and board members?
Greater accessibility on the web and on the go, as well as expanded feature sets. Homeowners and board members will continue to access your portal at their current URL, as well as retain all functionality available to them today.
Vantaca Home is built to be as intuitively as possible, and combined with in-platform training there should be no disruption to the use of your portal for homeowners or board members. If you wish to utilize it, a portal user guide for your homeowners and board members will also be available to you to include in your new portal rollout to existing homeowners or welcome packets for new homeowners.
What features will be available?
All current Portal features will be available to both homeowners and board members, tied together in a new mobile-responsive user interface with an intuitive and action-oriented dashboard.
In addition, Vantaca will be rolling out some exciting new features within Vantaca Home in 2024. Features such as:
- ARC Voting
- The ability for board members to add documents to the document library.
- Community Announcements via dashboard and/or email blast that can be set by board members or your management company (based on your preference)
What about my custom content?
The custom test you have in your current Classic or Modern portal will be carried over to Vantaca Home.
However, the ability to change the portal’s CSS will not be available in Vantaca Home. Instead, a selection of color templates will be available for you, so that the portal can continue to reflect the preferred look for your management company.
In addition, custom lefthand navigation menu items/page names are not available in Vantaca Home. To make the user experience as intuitive as possible, all Vantaca Home users will receive the same menu items/page names throughout the portal.
Can I transition my communities over time?
No, all communities within the same Management Company must be transitioned to Vantaca Home at the same time.
In addition, all communities will be switched to Vantaca Home as of 7/1/24. We urge you to choose a transition date prior to 7/1/24 to ensure your portal users are both notified in advance and able to adopt new Home features as they are released.
Do I have to allow my homeowners and board members to see all the Vantaca Home dashboard widgets shown in the Vantaca Vision visuals?
No, if your association does not use one or more of our available modules (ex. You do not handle payments through Vantaca) the corresponding dashboard widget will not show for homeowners/board members within that association.
What about the Home mobile app?
With the launch of Vantaca Home (web), the functionality of the current Vantaca Home mobile app will be expanded to allow homeowners to view their dashboard, submit requests, view portal documents, and make payments all from within the mobile app.
Also, the Vantaca Home app will be available on Android!
What will Vantaca Home cost?
Your portal cost will remain the same at initial adoption. New portal rates may be discussed as part of your next renewal agreement.
