Some properties might have more than one owner, such as a co-op building or shared property. To enable and set up the Multiple Owners feature, you must ask Vantaca to enable the Multiple Owners feature and add the Multi-Owner Property and Homeowner permission to the roles that you want to allow to import multiple homeowners.

Enable the Multiple Owners Feature
Contact your Vantaca CSM to enable the Multiple Owners feature.
Select Homeowner Permissions
Users must have the appropriate permissions to View, Add, Update, Delete, and Merge homeowners.
To add these permission:

Navigate to Settings > Roles.
The Roles page displays.
- Enter the name of the role that you want to add the security to in the search field and enter.

Click the caret beside the desired role to expand it (ensure the Security tab is selected).

Go to the Homeowner section and click Edit beside Homeowner.
The Edit Role Security screen displays.
- Select from the following options:

- View: Allows users to view homeowner information.
- Add: Allows users to add homeowners and change the primary owner.
- Update: Allows users to update the homeowner’s first name, last name, or business name. With this enabled, the names in the Homeowner column of the Contact Info page display as links.
- Delete: Allows users to delete a homeowner if added by mistake or, for example, a spouse becomes deceased. Deleting a homeowner from a multiple owner account only removes them from that account.
- Merge: Coming soon!

Click Save changes.
Import Permission
If your users want to use the Multi-Owner Property and Homeowner import, they must have the Multi-Owner Property and Homeowner security enabled.
This import lets you add multiple homeowners to the same property account. For more information, see the "Property and Homeowner Imports" article.
Note: Currently, Append is the only available import mode.

To add the Multi-Owner Property and Homeowner security:

Navigate to Settings > Roles.

Go to the Import section and click Edit beside Multi-Owner Property and Homeowner.
The Edit Role Security screen displays.

Select Append, and then click Save changes.
