Objective: This article provides a violations overview in the Vantaca Mobile Application.
Once logged into the app, navigate to the Menu button (three horizontal lines) near the top of your screen. Select Inspection on the left-hand panel. You will see the Association section tap the green association name which will bring you to a searchable screen displaying all associations. Below, you will see open inspections in the Review Inspection section.
Here, select the desired association by tapping the association name. After you have selected the association, you'll want to click Full Inspection in the Start Inspection section.
Near the top of your screen an XN number will be displayed. This is the action item number for the violation inspection you have just started. Below the search bar you can filter by ALL, CCR, W/O (work order), or ARC.
It is recommended to have location services enabled so when you are performing the inspection, the properties that are geographically closest to you will appear first and the rest will follow in ascending order by the street address. (if you are working in an area where the property address is the same but there are different units you can use the search bar to search by unit number) Properties in black text, do not have any open violations, W/O, or ARC requests. Properties in red text currently have open violations, W/O etc. Tap a property to select it. Once you have selected a property any open items will be displayed. Tap New Violation and completed the information that follows on the screen.

Description- choose an existing description or enter a new one
First Step- for new violations start from the first step. You have the ability to change to other steps of the violations action item, however in order for the set letters to generate the action item must be stepped to the steps where the letters are set to attached in the action item configuration.
Fee Amount- defaults to what is set up on the Association Assessments page. You have the ability to override the amount here as a one time override.
Follow Up Date- defaults to the next day unless changed in this screen
Due Date- not a required field however it can added in so when that date approaches it will appear in the Vantaca.net dashboard
Attachments- you can upload as many pictures as you would like, however, the last photo you take will be the photo that is displayed on the letter. (you can delete photos by clicking on the photo and selecting 'OK' to remove attachment).
***Note: If you are sending the violation by email all of the attachments will send
You must click the check mark in the upper right hand corner to save your changes. This will save all the information that has been entered. If at any point you click the back button in the upper left hand corner the information will not be saved.
After you have finished working through all the properties for the inspection, tap End Inspection. After ending the inspection it will advance to the review state which can be approved or declined on the app, as well as on Vantaca.net.
If you forget a property during your inspection, or need to edit information that was entered you can decline the inspection, it will move to pending inspection in which you will have access to work with in it again and End Inspection when complete.
