To switch your Association between the Classic and Modern portal view you must first ensure that you have the proper Security access.
- Go to Settings > Roles.
- Select your role from the available options.
- Select the Security tab.
- Locate Portal under Association Settings.
- Click the Edit button.
- The Add/Edit field must be checked in order to make the necessary changes.
- Click the Update button to complete.
- Go to Association > Settings.
- Locate Portal Style under Portal.
- Click the Edit button.
- Select one of the following Portal Styles from the dropdown list:
- Classic: This is your associations current portal style
- Modern: The new portal style
- Optional: This will give your users the ability to switch between the Classic and Modern portal view.
- Disabled: This will completely disable the use of the portal for the selected association.
- Select one of the following Portal Styles from the dropdown list:
Note: It's recommended that you select either the Classic or Modern options and avoid using the Optional option in order to minimize troubleshooting for your users. Ex: The portal styles have different UI's and may cause confusion when attempting to provide support to your users,
- Click the Update button to complete.
Making this change on the Model will update all Associations that follow that Model. Your organization may want to change a few Associations at a time in order to cut down on homeowner confusion and phone calls. In that case, simply make this change on an individual Association.
