Question: "Why is there a System created action item in My Action Items? How can Vantaca create an action item for me?"
You might have been to your My Action Items page and seen action items that show the Author as System and not an actual user name.
If you see a System created action item, it is often an action item that has been kicked off from a Calendar Event or another action item.
In order to confirm this, you can look at the date the action item was created and then go to that date on the Association > Calendar.
On April 20, the date that the action item was created, there was an event titled "Send eStatements". By double-clicking on the event, Vantaca gives you the choice to Edit current occurrence or Edit the series. Choosing to Edit the series allows the ability to view the full aspects of the calendar event.
On the window that pops up, check the Action Item field, and you will be able to see if an action item was set to be kicked off from that calendar event creation.
So if you're ever confused as to how Vantaca could send you an action item, now you know how to research where it came from!
