Summary: The Service Request/Work Order action item does a few things automatically by stepping it forward. It allows formal work orders to be automatically sent to the Service Provider of choice, to gather estimates from multiple vendors, and automatically notifies the homeowner as the Service Request is processed.
- Service Request initiated by Homeowner via the Portal.
- Manager Reviews the Request
- Steps it to "Not Association Responsibility" - Automatically notifying the Homeowner.
- Steps it to "Send to Service Provider" - Automatically sends a formal work order via email with the Homeowners information and any additional notes provided by the Manager.
- Steps it to "Send to Service Provider for Estimate" - Automatic email with a template asking for a proposal. Once proposal received, provider is chosen, the manager will send a formal Work Order to the selected Provider.
- Once Work Order is sent to selected Provider, the Homeowner will automatically get an email notifying them to look out for communication from the Vendor. It will also auto-roll to "Pending Completion" as the work is done.
- When work is complete, Manager moves the Service Request from "Pending Completion" to "Service Request Complete" which automatically notifies the Homeowner and closes the Service Request.
