Summary: This article will outline the process to add/edit an email template to be sent at a step of an action type.
To edit the email template that is used on an action item, you will first start by going to the Settings > Action Types/Steps page.
Then, locate the action type for the email template(s) you would like to edit. We will use the Key/ Fob Request action item in this example. After you have located the action type, click on the dropdown arrow next to the action item to display the action type steps.
Now, find the step for the email template you would like to edit (if you see "Homeowner" in the Send To column, that indicates that this is a homeowner notification step). Click on the menu button (icon with three horizontal lines) to reveal your template options and select Email.
After clicking Email, the Edit Email Template screen will appear. From this screen you can create and/ or edit your email template for that action type step.
When creating an email template, can use tags from the Insert Tag box by selecting the tag you would like to insert and then clicking Go. Tags can be placed in the Description of Subject fields.
