This article outlines how to use Vantaca Pay's Express Pay feature which is available through text to homeowners that receive text message payment reminders.
Express Pay is Vantaca Pay's streamlined payment solution that delivers a quick and convenient way for homeowners to make payments. It follows strict security protocols to ensure all payments are processed safely and securely.

Express Pay vs Pay Now Links
Vantaca Pay offers two convenient payment methods for express payments:
- Express Pay by Text: Provides payment links delivered through text messages when you enroll in payment text reminders. These links are sent on the day your payment is due and work through the text message payment reminder system.
- Pay Now Links: Payment links that your management company can include in emails, monthly statements, collection notices, and action item communications. These links work the same way as Express Pay links but are delivered through email and other written communications instead of text messages.
Both methods:
- Allow you to make payments without logging in.
- Pre-fill your account information.
- Provide access to saved payment methods.
- Use secure payment processing.
Note: This article focuses on Express Pay by Text. For information about Pay Now links in emails, see the "How to Use Pay Now Links" article.
Express Pay by Text
Use Express Pay by text to easily and securely make payments directly from a payment reminder text message or push notification.
The payment text reminders for Express Pay include upcoming payment reminder language as well as a one-time link to pay the upcoming payment. Vantaca sends this payment reminder on the day a payment is due as long as there is a balance due and the homeowner does not have recurring or auto-draft payments set up. The link expires after use and, if clicked again, redirects you to the Vantaca Home guest payment flow.
Notes:
- If there is one owner with multiple accounts, Vantaca sends one payment reminder text per account/ledger.
- No texts are sent to owners with blocked accounts/ledger.
- Express Pay by text is separate from Pay Now links that appear in emails. Express Pay links only arrive through text messages when you are enrolled in payment text reminders.
Management companies must enable Express Pay for this option to be available. For details, see the "Enable Express Pay" article.
Homeowenrs must also opt-in to Express Pay by text by enabling payment text reminders (see the following instructions).
Opt-in to Payment Text Reminders
Homeowners must enable payment text reminders and provide their phone number through their Vantaca Home portal.
To opt-in to payment text reminders:
- Navigate to your portal > My Profile > Profile Settings.
- Select Yes under Receive Payment Reminders Via Text.
- Enter the phone number at which you want to receive the payment reminder texts.
- Click Update.
Add Email Confirmation
After homeowners pay by text, they receive a payment confirmation text (screenshot to keep for records). They can also opt-in for email payment confirmation - do this before paying fees by text.
To receive an email confirmation after pay by text:
Navigate to your portal > My Profile > Profile Settings.
Select Yes under Send Payment Confirmation Emails.
Click Update.
Enable Push Notifications
Homeowners can receive push notifications for Express Pay in the Home Mobile app by enabling Settings > Allow Notifications
When homeowners tap the notification, the Make a Payment page displays with account information prefilled, including management company, association, account, and payment amount.
Enroll Through the Recurring Payment Login Screen
You can also enroll in Express Pay when you click Set Up Later (snooze) on the Recurring Payment Onboarding Modal.
To enroll through the screen:

Log in to your Vantaca Home account.
The Recurring Payment Onboarding screen displays if you are eligible (your association must use Vantaca Pay and have Recurring Payments enabled). -
Click Set Up Later.
The Express Pay enrollment screen displays if your association has Express Pay enabled.
- Enter your mobile phone number.

Click Enroll.
You will receive text reminders three days before your bill is due with a payment link. The recurring payment modal will display again in 30 days.
Use Express Pay by Text
After the management company enables Express Pay and homeowners enroll in Payment Text Reminders, Vantaca sends a payment reminder text on the day the payment is due that contains a one-time payment link.
Example text message:
To make a payment using Express Pay by text:

Tap the link in the payment reminder text.
The payment page opens with the full balance due selected as default.
- Ensure that the balance is correct and that you want to pay this entire balance.
OR
If you wish to pay another amount tap Other Amount, enter the amount you wish to pay, and click Next.
Note: If you have a balance on your account, Express Pay will use that first and only charge the remaining amount to pay the balance.
- Tap your desired payment method.

If you select Credit Card or Wallet, you can then select a saved credit card or pay with a new card.
Note: If you have set up Apple Pay or Google Pay, these options also display and you can click them to proceed through the Apple Pay or Google Pay payment process.
OR
If you select Bank Account you can select from a saved bank account or pay with a new account. -
If you selected to pay with a saved card or bank account, tap to select the desired saved payment method. The following images show a selected MasterCard and a selected bank account:
Note: The processing fee is dynamic and adjusts according to your selected payment method.

If you selected to pay with a new card or bank account, the appropriate area opens where you can provide the new information on the screen:
- Credit Card: Enter the new credit card information in the appropriate fields.

Bank Account: Enter your information on the screen and search for or select the bank from which you want to add an account. Follow the instructions on the screens to add the account.
Note: You can enable Save payment method for future use to add this payment method to your saved methods.

Tap Confirm & Pay.
A New Payment confirmation text displays. Take note of the Payment Amount and Processing Fee.

Tap Confirm & Pay.
A Payment Complete notification text displays. Vantaca recommends that you take a screenshot of this page for your records.
- (Optional) Tap Log In to Vantaca Home to open the Vantaca Home Login screen.
No Multiple Payments
Vantaca has put into place a safeguard so multiple payments cannot occur.
For example, if you receive the payment reminder text, but do not click it right away, and in the meantime, someone else on the account makes the payment. In this case, clicking the link no longer allows for a payment but displays the account information so you can see:
- Your Account Balance.
- The Payment Status that shows if a payment is needed and when the last payment occurred.
- A Recent Activity section that shows the last three payments on the account.
