Board members can now perform their core community duties from the Vantaca Home mobile app. You can review and act on request approvals, architectural reviews, work orders, violations, invoices, and more, all from your phone. This article explains how to find the board pages in the app and what you can do on each one.
Important: If your account looks different from what's shown here, don't worry! This update is rolling out gradually and will be available to you soon.
Contents
Before You Start
- Board role: You must be a board member or an architectural review committee member on the association. Board pages appear only for users with a board role.
- Permissions: Your management company controls which board pages and actions are available to you. If a page is missing, contact your management company.
Find the Board Pages
There are two ways to reach the board pages in the app:
- Board Actions card: On the home screen, the Board Actions card shows how many items are waiting for you in each category. Tap a category to open that board page.
- Side menu: Tap the Menu icon to open the side menu. The board pages available to you are listed there.
To-Do List (Request Approvals)
The To-Do List is the central place to review and act on the items that need your attention. It brings together pending items from across categories, such as collections, violations, architectural requests, invoices, and work orders, in one list.
From the To-Do List you can:
- Filter by type: Narrow the list to a single category, such as work orders or violations.
- View: Tap to open an item and see its full details and any attachments.
- Approve: Tap to approve a request. You can add a message before you confirm.
- Decline: Tap to decline a request. You can add a message before you confirm.
- Send Message: Tap to send a message about an item.
- Export: Export the items in your list to a file.
Note: Architectural requests are approved or declined from the architectural request's detail page rather than directly from the To-Do List.
Other Board Pages
Depending on your permissions and your community's setup, you may also have access to these board pages:
- ARC Management: Review architectural requests, view their supporting documents, and cast your vote.
- Work Orders: Review work orders and approve, decline, or send a message about them.
- Violations: Review violations and approve, decline, or send a message about them.
- Invoices: Review invoices that need approval and approve, decline, or send a message about them.
- Collections: Review collection items and take the next step on them.
- Inspections: Review property inspections and their related violations.
- Reports: View community reports.
- Homeowners: Look up homeowner information for your community.
- Bank Accounts: View the association's bank account information.
- More Items: Review additional board items that are not covered by the other pages.
