How Homeowners Reach Requests
Homeowners can open the Requests page in two ways:
- Click Requests in the left navigation menu.
- Click Quick Actions > New Request at the top of the left navigation menu.
How to Submit a General Request
To submit a general request, homeowners follow these steps:
- Open the Requests page using one of the methods described above.
The Requests page displays. - Click New Request.
A screen displays with available request types. - Click General Request.
A list of request type options appears. - Select the type of request from the available options.
The form for that request type opens. - Fill out the form with relevant details. Most forms include:
- Subject (required): A brief title for the request.
- Details (required): A description of the request and any additional information the management company needs.
- Click Submit.
The request is submitted to your management company.
After Submission
Once a homeowner submits a request, your management company can:
- View the request in their action items queue.
- Track the request status and send updates to the homeowner.
- Route the request to the appropriate team or department based on the request type.
Homeowners can view the status of their submitted requests in the My Requests list.
Other Request Types
In addition to General Requests, homeowners may be able to submit other request types depending on your community's configuration. For example, homeowners can submit Architectural Requests for property modifications. For more information, see the "Vantaca Home: Architectural Requests" article.

Q: What if homeowners do not see the Requests option in the left navigation menu?
