How to Create Bulk Action Items from the Homeowner or Association Lists

Summary: This article will provide instructions for creating Bulk Action Items

(Please keep in mind that bulk action items may only be created for 250 Homeowners at a time)

First, we will address Bulk Creating action items at the Homeowner level. Then, we will take a look at bulk creating action items across multiple associations.

Instructions: 

1. Create a bulk action item for multiple homeowners within an association: 

To begin, hover your cursor over the Homeowners menu item in the top navigation bar, and select Homeowner List from the drop down menu.

Next, select the homeowners which you would like to include in the action item by checking the  corresponding boxes to the left of the homeowner rows: 

Once the desired homeowners are selected, select "Bulk Action Item". This will bring up the bulk action item window with all of the homeowners previously selected included. 

From here, continue creation and configuration just like a normal action item! 

Once you click update, the action item you have selected, with the details and description you have entered, will be created on each individual Homeowner account that you had selected.

*Please Note that if you are selecting a large number of Homeowners, this request may take a few minutes to be completely processed.

 2. Create a bulk action item for multiple Associations: 

NOTE** This is a great tool to announce information across portfolios, regions, etc.  For example, creating a notification to inform all associations of management company holiday hours.

To begin, hover your cursor over the Association menu item on the top navigation bar, and select Association List from the drop down menu. 

Next, select the associations for which you would like to include in the action item by checking the box to the left of the association row: 

NOTE** The box labeled select all below can be used to select all associations on the current page view. If you intend to use the select all function across more associations, this can be accomplished by increasing the items per page option below the association list. 

Once the desired associations are selected, select "Bulk Action Item". This will bring up the bulk action item window with all of the associations previous selected included. 

From here, continue creation and configuration just like a normal action item! 

Once you click update, the action item you have selected, with the details and description you have entered, will be created on each individual association that you had selected.
