Letter and email templates in Vantaca render using a defined set of supported fonts. This article lists those fonts and explains how to make sure your templates render with the exact fonts you choose.
Important: Vantaca processes letters using more than one rendering engine depending on system configuration. If a font in your template is not installed on the server processing your letter, the system substitutes a default font, which can change the layout or appearance of the document. To guarantee your fonts always appear exactly as designed, embed the fonts in your Word template using the steps in Embedding Fonts in a Word Template.

Embedding Fonts in a Word Template
Embedding a font stores the font inside the Word document so the file carries it to whatever system opens or processes it. Embedding is the most reliable way to make sure your letters render with the exact font you selected, regardless of which fonts are installed on the rendering server.
Note: Only fonts that allow embedding can be saved inside a Word document. Some commercial fonts restrict embedding under their license. If a font does not allow embedding, Word will not include it in the file and the rendering server substitutes a default font.
Embed Fonts in Word for Windows
- Open your Word template.
- Click File > Options.
The Word Options screen opens. - Click Save.
- Under Preserve fidelity when sharing this document, select Embed fonts in the file.
- (Optional) Select Embed only the characters used in the document to keep the file size smaller. Use this when the template will not be edited again.
- (Optional) Select Do not embed common system fonts to skip fonts that are present on most systems.
- Click OK.
- Save the template.
The selected fonts are now embedded in the file.

FAQ
Q: What happens if I use a font that is not on the supported list?
A: Vantaca cannot guarantee the rendered document will display the same font. The rendering server substitutes an available font, which can change the layout, spacing, or appearance of the letter. Embedding the font in your Word template prevents this substitution in most cases.
Q: My font looks correct in Word but renders differently in the final document. Why?
A: The server processing the letter may not have the font installed. Either choose a font from the supported list above or embed the font in the Word template before uploading.
Q: Can every font be embedded?
A: No. Some fonts include embedding restrictions in their licensing. Word displays a message when it cannot embed a font. In that case, switch to a font that allows embedding, or to one of the supported fonts listed in this article.
