Company Insights Page
The Insights Company page provides a centralized dashboard for viewing comprehensive metrics about your company's performance across portfolio management, revenue generation, and employee productivity.
The page includes the following main tabs and features:
Note: You can save your filter selections as presets on the Revenue and Employees tabs. For more information, see the Managing Filter Presets section in the "Vantaca IQ - Insights" article.
- Summary Tab: Portfolio growth and high-level metrics.
- Revenue Tab: Financial performance metrics. This section requires Revenue Manager. If your company does not use Revenue Manager, this section will display zero values for all metrics.
- Performance Rankings Tab: Association performance across multiple metrics within your assigned portfolio. This section requires Revenue Manager.
- Employee Tab: Workforce productivity metrics.
- Date Range Selector: Select specific time periods for analysis (custom date selection is limited to the past 2 years and excludes future months). Compare performance across different time periods and focus on specific date ranges relevant to your reporting needs. All charts and metrics on the dashboard reflect the time period selected.
- Data Source icon: Indicates whether this page uses live or scheduled data. For more information about these icons, see the "Vantaca IQ: Understanding Live and Scheduled Data" article.
- Print and Feedback Options: Export capabilities and feedback submission tools.
-
Filters: Select options to segment data by Associations (disabled on Summary and Performance Rankings tabs) Employees, Portfolios, Portfolio Types, and Responsibilities. Filters are maintained when switching between tabs and appear in alphabetical order. Filters apply differently across the three tabs:
- Summary tab: Filters do not apply to metrics (numbers are company-wide totals).
- Revenue tab: All filters are available and affect calculations
- Employee tab: All filters available except Associations (associations are the metric being measured).
Note: The Responsibilities filter uses your Portfolio Type configuration to filter by job function, see the Understanding Roles, Responsibilities, and Portfolios section in the "Vantaca IQ - Insights" article for details.
Summary Tab
The Company Insights Summary tab displays high-level company metrics and growth visualization (see previous image). This tab does not support filtering and shows data for all associations and doors based on the user's portfolio access.
The Summary tab displays the following portfolio metrics in card format:
-
Increase/Decrease in Door Count: The net change in door count over the selected date range. This metric includes:
- Numerical change: The exact number of doors gained or lost (e.g., +1,473 or -245).
- Percentage change: The percentage increase or decrease (e.g., 15% ↑).
- Direction indicator: Green upward arrow for increases, red downward arrow for decreases.
- Current Door Count: The total number of doors under management as of today. This number remains constant regardless of the date range selected and represents a real-time snapshot of your current portfolio size.
-
Increase/Decrease in Association Count: The net change in association count over the selected date range. This metric includes:
- Numerical change: The exact number of associations gained or lost.
- Percentage change: The percentage increase or decrease.
- Direction indicator: Green upward arrow for increases, red downward arrow for decreases.
- Current Association Count: The total number of associations under management as of today. This number remains constant regardless of the date range selected and represents a real-time snapshot of your current association portfolio.
-
Portfolio Growth: Displays historical trends for both associations and doors over the selected time period using a dual-axis line chart showing the number of associations (left axis) and number of doors (right axis) under management over time. Hover over any data point to view more information. Use this chart to:
- Identify growth patterns and seasonal trends.
- Correlate association growth with door count changes.
- Spot portfolio expansion or contraction periods.
Revenue Tab
The Revenue tab displays comprehensive financial performance metrics for your company.
Notes:
Revenue data requires your company to use Revenue Manager. If you do not have a Revenue Manager subscription, all metrics on this tab will display zero values. For more information about Revenue Manager, see the "Revenue Manager: Getting Started" article.
You can save your filter selections as presets on the Revenue and Employees tabs. For more information, see the Managing Filter Presets section in the "Vantaca IQ - Insights" article.
The Revenue tab displays the following financial metrics in card format:
- Total Revenue: The cumulative revenue generated during the selected date range. This includes all admin fees and management fees posted to association ledgers.
-
Revenue per Door: The average revenue generated per door during the selected date range. This metric is calculated by dividing total revenue by the number of doors under management.
Note: In the Total Revenue and Revenue per Door metrics, the percentage change is in comparison to the previous period of equal length. The direction indicator shows a green upward arrow for increases, and red downward arrow for decreases. Percentage changes do not display when using a custom date range. -
Pending Charges: The total dollar amount of charges that have been generated in Revenue Manager but not yet posted to association ledgers. Pending charges represent revenue that will be realized after the charges are posted.
Note: Pending charges are based on current data, not the selected date range. For more information about pending charges and the posting process, see the "Revenue Manager: Billing" article. -
Revenue Trends: The Revenue Trends chart displays monthly revenue breakdown over the selected time period using a line chart with three data series:
- Total Revenue (purple line): Combined admin fees and management fees.
- Admin Fees (pink line): Revenue from administrative fee charges.
- Management Fees (blue line): Revenue from management fee charges. Note that this chart is a different display than the Revenue Trends tool shown on the "Vantaca IQ - Business Dashboard" article.
-
Highest Performing Charge Types: Horizontal bar chart showing top five charge types as percentage of total revenue. Use this chart to:
- Identify your most significant revenue drivers.
- Focus business development on high-value services.
- Understand which services generate the most income.
-
Lowest Performing Charge Types: Horizontal bar chart showing bottom five charge types as percentage of total revenue. Use this chart to:
- Identify underperforming service offerings.
- Evaluate whether low-performing charges are worth maintaining.
- Spot opportunities for service optimization or elimination.
- Revenue by Charge Type: Sortable table listing all charge types with detailed revenue information (sorted highest to lowest by default). The table includes all charge types that generated revenue during the selected date range. If you have many charge types, use the search function to quickly locate specific charges.
Performance Rankings
The Performance Rankings tab provides visual analytics to evaluate association performance across key business metrics within your assigned portfolio. This feature helps management companies quickly identify top and bottom performers, track trends, and make data-driven decisions about portfolio management.
IQ Administrators have unrestricted access to all company data regardless of portfolio assignments. This allows IQ Administrators to perform company-wide analysis and create comprehensive reports across all associations and portfolios.
Note: Performance Rankings is only available to management companies enrolled in Revenue Manager.
The Performance Rankings tab shows the following components (data updates based on selected date range):
-
Association Ranking Table: A sortable table displaying all associations with the following columns (click the header to sort the table by that metric):
- Association: Association name.
- Rank: Performance tier displayed as Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze designation.
- Rank Trend: Arrow indicating whether performance is improving (up arrow) or declining (down arrow) compared to the previous period.
- Profit Score: Calculated profitability score for the association.
- Revenue: Total revenue for the selected time period.
- Activity: High, Medium, or Low based on closed action items.
-
Performance Charts: Three sets of dual horizontal bar charts comparing the top five and bottom five associations by:
- Revenue Rankings: Top five and bottom five associations by total revenue.
- Profitability Rankings: Top five and bottom five associations by profitability score.
- Activity Rankings: Top five and bottom five associations by closed action items.
Employee Tab
The Employee tab displays workforce productivity metrics, tracking how associations and doors are distributed across your employees over time.
The metrics in this section measure employee workload based on their assigned responsibilities within associations. An employee is counted as responsible for an association (and its doors) if they have any configured role or responsibility for that association in the Vantaca (CMP) platform.
Note: The Associations filter is disabled on the Employees tab because associations are the metric being measured. You can save your filter selections as presets on the Revenue and Employees tabs. For more information, see the Managing Filter Presets section in the "Vantaca IQ - Insights" article. .
The Employee tab displays the following productivity metrics in card format:
-
Associations per Employee: The average number of associations assigned to each employee over the selected date range. This metric helps you:
- Assess workload distribution across your team.
- Identify capacity for additional associations.
- Plan hiring needs based on portfolio growth.
-
Doors per Employee: The average number of doors managed by each employee over the selected date range. This metric helps you:
- Evaluate employee productivity levels.
- Compare workload equity across team members.
-
Set benchmarks for employee capacity planning.
Note: Both previous metrics include:- Numerical change: The change in average over the selected period.
- Percentage change: The percentage increase or decrease. Percentage changes do not display when using a custom date range
- Direction indicator: Neutral arrow (no color coding). Unlike other metrics in Company Insights, increases and decreases in employee metrics are displayed as neutral (no color coding). An increase in associations or doors per employee could indicate growth opportunity or employee overload depending on context, so neither direction is inherently positive or negative.
-
Per Employee: Dual-axis line chart showing Associations per Employee (left axis) and Doors per Employee (right axis) over monthly time periods, enabling workload trend analysis and capacity planning.
