Creating Broadcast Emails using Homeowner Tags

Let's say that you have a message for a specific group of Homeowners within an association that you manage. You know that you can use the Broadcast Email action item to send out a blast to the entire association, but you only want to send your email to, say, the owners on the first floor of the condo, or the owners within a certain neighborhood.

You can use Homeowner Tags to send Broadcast Messages to just the Homeowners with those tags! You will first need to create your Homeowner tags, so please click here to view our tutorial article/ video on Creating Homeowner Tags. Once your Homeowner tags are created, when creating the broadcast email, click on the select button to select your Homeowner tags.

After clicking Select, you can click on the Owner Tags field to reveal the available Homeowner Tags for the association you have selected. Click on the tag(s) you would like to use and then click Select Tags. Please note that you can select more than on group of tags at the same time!

After you have selected your tags, click update to complete your message and enter the review step. From the Review step, simply step the action item to the Broadcast Step and the Broadcast Email action item will generate Broadcast Email Message action items for the tagged owners you have selected!
