The Board Actions menu in the Vantaca Home portal is an expandable menu in the left navigation that gives board members and ARC committee members one place to find every page where they review and approve items. It is hidden for regular homeowners. This article describes who sees the Board Actions menu, the pages that appear in it, and the Board Actions card on the Dashboard that surfaces counts of items needing attention.

Who Sees Board Actions
The Board Actions menu appears for users with board member or ARC committee permissions. The menu is hidden for regular homeowners. Non-homeowner board members (board members who are not homeowners in the association) see only the Board Actions menu, the Home page, and select shared pages.
Pages in the Board Actions Menu
The Board Actions menu is an expandable list. Click Board Actions in the left navigation to expand or collapse it. The menu can include:
- ARCs: Architectural requests pending board review or voting. The menu label reflects the ARC name configured for the association.
- Invoices: Invoices pending board approval. See the "Vantaca Home: Boards - Invoice Approval" article.
- Work Orders: Work orders for review.
- Collections: Collections actions for board action.
- More Items: Additional board action items.
- Homeowners: Homeowner list with contact and account information. See the "Vantaca Home: Boards - Homeowner List" article.
- Bank Accounts: Association bank accounts. See the "Vantaca Home: Boards - Bank Accounts" article.
- Reports: Financial and operational reports. See the "Vantaca Home: Boards - Reports" article.
- Inspections: Property inspections to review.
- Violations: Violation inspection review. See the "Vantaca Home: Boards - Violation Inspection Review" article.
- Board Tasks: To-do list of items assigned to the board.
The exact menu items shown depend on the pages enabled for the association and the user's role.
The Board Actions Card on the Dashboard
The Dashboard includes a Board Actions card for users with board member or ARC committee permissions. The card shows count tiles for each Board Actions category that has pending items. Each tile includes:
- Count: The number of items needing board attention.
- Category label: ARCs (label reflects the configured ARC name), Invoices, Work Orders, Collections, Inspections, and Violations.
- View All link: Click to open the full list for that category.
The card is a quick way for board members to see what needs attention without expanding the Board Actions menu and clicking through each page.
Custom Board Pages
Custom pages you create can be marked as board-only. Custom board pages appear as children inside the Board Actions menu rather than at the top level of the left navigation menu. For details about creating custom pages, see the "Vantaca Home: Create Custom Pages" article.
Configuration Notes
- Board member designation: Manage which homeowners have board permissions under Association > Board/Committee.
- ARC committee designation: Manage ARC committee members under Association > Board/Committee.
- Page visibility: Each Board Actions page can be enabled or disabled under Association > Portal Pages.
- Role permissions: Control which actions board members can take (approve, reject, vote) under Settings > Roles.
