Summary: Various system fields have the capability of being Undeleted in the event that they are mistakenly deleted by a user. Undeleting serves as a means of undoing a mistake or it can be used to temporarily make something inactive, like a Bank Account that has a low balance that you don't want to be used in error.
Undeletable Fields
At this time, the following data types can be Undeleted as long as they were deleted in the last 30 days (for the data types in bold):
Note: Users will need the Delete permission for each data type for the Undelete button to be visible.
- Service Providers
- Required permission: Settings > Roles > Service Provider
- Undeleting will create a System Activity Note.
- Bank Accounts
- Required permission: Settings > Roles > Bank Accounts
- Undeleting will create an Association Activity Note.
- Associations
- Required permission: Settings > Roles > Association
- Undeleting will create a System Activity Note.
- Homeowners
- Required permission: Settings > Roles > Homeowners
- Note: Undoes the deletion of both the homeowner and their property.
- Undeleting will create a System Activity Note.
Viewing Deleted Records
1. To view Deleted records, check the corresponding [Include Deleted] checkbox on the grid's toolbar.
- Service Providers > Service Provider List
- Association > Bank Accounts
- Association > Association List
- Homeowners > Homeowner List
2. Click the Undelete button to undo the deletion.
