The Vantaca dashboard allows users to quickly see an overview of Unread Messages, a summary of Action Items, and notifications of recent software updates.
Once logged into Vantaca, you will see a dashboard screen with an overview of your Unread Messages, Action Items, and Updates.
To navigate back to your dashboard from other screens, roll over the Home button on the top navigation bar, and select Dashboard from the drop-down menu. You can also click the Home button to go directly to the Dashboard.
From here you can view Unread Messages, which are located at the top of the dashboard. Right-click to display a menu that allows you to mark the messages as read, send a message, or select the associated action item.
Below the Unread Messages is a summary of the Action Items assigned to your role, categorized by step. Click Select to begin working with that type of Action Item.
The Updates section contains messages from Vantaca with announcements on new features and system changes.
The Action Center
The Action Center panel has three tabs: Action Center, Call Center, and Recon. The Action Center tab has details of the Action Item that you selected and are actively working with. You can click the Association name to link to the Association > Action Item page on the main screen or click the Owner name to link to the Homeowners > Action Items page for that Owner.
This tab is especially convenient because your Action Items details will remain anchored in the left panel while you simultaneously navigate on the main screen.
Click the Hamburger Menu icon to step the Action Item, send a message, skip the item, or edit it. Click the paper clip to view the Action Items attachments. Depending on the type of Action Item you are working with, you may have additional action buttons such as Approve or Decline.
Call Center
The Call Center tab in the left panel allows you to search for an Action Item by the action item or the XN number. Once you have searched for the XN, or Action Item number, you can use the Ledger, Activity, Action Item and XN buttons at the bottom of the panel to those screens.
If you would like to hide the Action Center panel, click on the arrow in the middle of the green bar between the left panel and the dashboard. Click again to show it. You can also resize the panel by hovering over the bar until your mouse cursor turns into arrows. Click and drag to resize the left panel.
Recon
The Recon tab displays Bank Account periods containing unreconciled items. Within each item, you can view the Bank Account's Association, Account Name, End Period, and Number of Unreconciled items.
Selecting any of the items in the tab will redirect you to the Accounting > Reconciliation page with the Association, Bank Account, and End Period automatically populated with the information from your selection in the Recon tab. As you reconcile items for the selection, the information in the Action Center's Recon tab will automatically be updated as you work.
Bank Accounts can be excluded from appearing on the Recon tab by checking the Hide From Recon List checkbox on the Association > Bank Accounts > Edit/New Bank Account form.
