Question: What does the GL TranID indicate?
Answer: The GL TranID is a default column on the Accounting > GL Research screen. Knowing what each number means can be helpful for identifying what type of transaction it is and what screen to navigate to next.
0 - Indicates the transaction is historical, part of a import during conversion
9 - Indicates the transaction was part of a GL entry
10 - Indicates the transaction was part of a transfer
100 - Indicates the transaction was part of an owner payment
101 - Indicates the transaction was part of an invoice
