Interactive Reports

Summary: This article will detail which reports in Vantaca are interactive and how to use the interactive features.

Reports Toolbar

The screenshot above shows the toolbar that is at the top of the report window. On the far left you will see an arrow that allows one to navigate to the previous area of the report. The next item with an arrow above it is for downloading the file. The dropdown list allows you to select which file format you would like to download the file in.

Files most commonly are downloaded as a PDF or as an Excel sheet. The last two items with arrows above them are for used to zoom in or out of the report. 

Income Statements

All of the income statement reports are interactive, with the exception of the Income Statement Summaries. The example below uses the Income Statement (2 Col) report. In this report you can select amounts in the Actual columns to see more about what the amount is comprised of. 

The following screenshot shows the detail of the amount that is highlighted in the screenshot above.

Budget Comparison

In this report you can select individual amounts to see further detail about how this number is comprised. For example, the screenshot below show the Budget Comparison report. 

In the next screenshot the highlighted amount was selected and now the monthly breakdown of the Budget for Assessment Test FY 2019 can be seen.

AR Aging 

On the AR Aging report, you can select a charge or a balance to see more detail about that specific item.

In this example, the highlighted amount ($7,110.00) has been selected. When selected, the details for that balance will appear. The screenshot below shows that view.

GL Trial Balance

The GL Trial Balance report has some interactivity as well. One can select amounts in the Beginning Balance and Ending Balance columns to see more details about what that amount is comprised of.

In this example, the highlighted amount (-$16,468.96) has been selected. When selected, the details for that balance will appear. The screenshot below shows that view.
