Vantaca Features

View Imports

Description:

The following changes have been made to the Settings > Imports > Import tab:

  • The following columns have been added to the Import tab grid:
    • Import Mode column has been added as a default column.
    • Status column has been added as a default column with the available statuses:
      • Processing
      • Committed
      • Pending Processing
      • Pending Review
      • Reversed
    • Committed By has been added as an available column option.
    • Committed Date has been added as an available column option.
    • Committed Time has been added as an available column option.
  • Added the ability to Download successfully imported files.

  • Added the ability to reverse a committed Post Charges import.
    • Note: The Import cannot be reversed if the initial import has been posted for 7 days or more.
    • Reverse has been added as a Security option under Settings > Roles > Settings > Import > Post Charges which will control the ability to Reverse imports.
    • Reversed imports will be deleted from the owner ledger and the user who reversed the import will populate the Deleted By column.
  • Added the ability to reverse a committed Post Utility Charges import.
    • Note: The Import cannot be reversed if the initial import has been posted for 7 days or more.
    • Reverse has been added as a Security option under Settings > Roles > Settings > Import > Post Utility Charges which will control the ability to Reverse imports.
    • Reversed imports will be deleted from the owner ledger and the user who reversed the import will populate the Deleted By column.

Impact:

We've made big changes to our Imports screen and each item is intended to minimize the chance that you need to contact Vantaca Support to resolve an Import issue. Most of the information and functionality we're now providing could only be performed with support assistance which meant that your workflow was hitting a roadblock that is now more avoidable than ever.

Reconciled Period for Not Live Associations

Description:

Marking an Association as Not Live will now result in the Bank Reconciliation action item automatically generating a Bank Account End Period for all associated bank accounts to the association.

  • Note: The action item Bank Account End Period generation will not be created if the Association has been marked as Not Live for 35 days or more.

 

Impact:

This change to how an action item generates the Bank Account End Period for recently marked Not Live associations will ensure that your accountants have the necessary information available so that they can accurately reconcile and record activity that occurs for those associations no longer under their management.

Vantaca Corrections

Voided Payments

  • Fixed the issue causing void messaging to still appear on the Payment description even though a Bank Return was successfully processed on a Payment and the Void Entry had been deleted from the Audit Tab or Bank Register.

General Inquiry From Email Action Type

  • Fixed the issue causing an endless loop on the General Inquiry from Email Action Type due to the auto-responder continuing to reply despite receiving five identical emails.

Owner Transfer

  • Fixed the issue that was causing the Owner Transfer process to ignore the Include Tenants checkbox.
  • Fixed the issue that was occurring during an ownership transfer causing the previous tenant of the previous owner to not have a move-out date automatically applied to it when the Include Tenant(s) checkbox is left unchecked.

Proposed Annual budget

  • Fixed the issue that was causing the Proposed Annual Budget to receive an error message for attempting to divide by zero.

Homeowner Action Items

  • Fixed the issue that was preventing the Save Grid option from functioning as expected on the Homeowner > Action Items grid.

MICR Line

  • Fixed an issue with the MICR line not being readable by a Banking partner.

Import Dates

  • Fixed the issue causing the Settings > Import screen to ignore the original Payment Date in the Import.

Performance Issues

  • Fixed the issue causing the My Action Items screen to take upwards of 30 seconds to load an average amount of items.
  • Fixed the issue that was causing intermittent load times in the following system areas:

    • Associations

      • Association List

      • Association Search

    • Homeowners

      • Homeowner List

      • Homeowner Search within the Homeowner Ledger

PPB New Account Request

  • Fixed an issue with PPB's New Bank Account Request timing out due to the
    requests inadvertently ending up with an indefinite not approve status until
    manual intervention was requested by the client.
