Payment Method Column
Description:
A Default Payment Method column has been added as an available column option on the Service Provider > Service Provider List screen.
- The column will populate the selected Pay Type for the Service Provider.
- This column will not be enabled by default.
Impact:
This new column option is another positive addition for you to create a customize grid that’s configured exactly to the needs of your workflow.
Check Returns
Description:
PDF files will now be included in the Bank Return process for South State Bank.
- The first nine digits of the file name can be used to identify the client based on the company Tax ID.
Impact:
Including PDF file types will help AR Processors by allowing them to see return notifications for check returns and process returns on the owner accounts accordingly.
Balance Sheet Report
Description:
The following changes have been made to all versions of the Balance Sheet Reports:
- Changed Total Asset to Total Assets.
- Changed Total Liability/Equity to Total Liabilities/Equity.
Impact:
This minor enhancement is another instance where Vantaca continues to ensure you can rely on Vantaca reporting for consistency and accuracy in all facets.
Save Grid Setting
Description:
A Save Grid Option has been added to the Inspection Portal Page.
- The column will allow users to configure their grids to a custom layout.
Impact:
Your Board Members will no longer have to manually add their desired columns when using the Inspection page, no matter what Portal style they’re using!
Credit Card Interface
Description:
Added the following interface settings for AAB clients.
- CC Redir
- Will display a button that allows AAB Credit Card Payments.
- Button will open the link in a new tab.
- Will display a button that allows AAB Credit Card Payments.
- Alliance Association Bank Cc Single Sign On setting has been renamed to Alliance Association Bank Redirect SSO Payments.
- Will display a button that allows existing Single Sign On functionality.
- Can display in addition to the CC Redir button.
- The button's label will default to eCheck.
- Each button can be configured on the Assocation > Settings > Portal section, depending on the user's permissions.
- Buttons must be enabled on the association level to display.

Impact:
If you’re using the Alliance Association Bank integration, these new payment options will ensure that your homeowners have a clear understanding of what their payment options are within the Modern Portal.
Board Invoice Detail
Description:
Added new security settings to Settings > Role > Portal > Board Invoice that will give users the ability to control which of their board members can create and/or edit Invoice Details.
- Edit Invoice Detail
- New Invoice Detail
- Adds an Edit and/or New Invoice Detail button, for each permission respectively, in the GL Details on an invoice in the Modern Portal.
- Both New Invoice Detail and Edit buttons will only display when an invoice is in Board Invoice > My Items.
- Button will not be an option when viewing invoice from the Open and Closed tab on the Board Invoices page.
- A Bank Account column has been added in the GL Details in Board Invoice.
- Invoice Validation has been added that will verify the GL Amount matches the Invoice Total when a Board Member is approving/declining an invoice in the Modern Portal.

Impact:
These enhancements to the Modern Portal will give you even more control over which of your board members can edit and/or view relevant bank account info in an Invoice’s GL Details. This new functionality has the added benefit of adhering to current compliance standards and policies.
Vantaca Corrections
Board ARC Page
- Resolved the error preventing Board Members from exporting ARC data from the portal due to the Item Details column being removed from the grid.
Non-Lockbox Returns
- The error causing Return Payments received through the UB Integration for non-lockbox payments to automatically default to bank return notifications has been resolved.
Reconciliation
- Corrected the issue causing manually reconciled items to incorrectly display as being reconciled by the system instead of a user.
- Resolved the error causing manual attached files to not save on post deposits on the Accounting > Reconciliation > Post Deposit screen.
- Data will now display as expected when filtering for both bank side and book side, the entered day is more than 21 days, and the filter is set to Equal To.
Coupons
- The error causing the Coupon Start Date to be ignored when generating coupons for a future date has been resolved.
Homeowner Invoice Report
- The two-column format of the Homeowner Invoice Report will now display the full statement message instead of cutting off after displaying the first line.
Letter Template Permission
- Users who previously had the ability to upload templates will no longer be able to add/edit templates using the template manager once their permission has been changed from Edit to View.
Modern Portal
- The issue causing a user's session data to not be cleared upon logging out of the Modern Portal has been resolved.
Financial Delivery Action Item
- Resolved the error preventing users from only being able to set the Report End Date when creating the report and not being able to edit the field as expected.
Portal Attachments
- Attempting to submit multiple portal attachments and/or files greater than 5MB will no longer cause a non-descript error to users.
Homeowner Portal Password
- Resolved the error causing the generated password in the Password Reset email to not work.
Balance Sheet
- Resolved the error causing prior year activity to display in the current year due to the net income not rolling into retained earnings on the first day of the new fiscal year.
1099 Detail
- Improved the loading functionality of the 1099 tab after identifying an issue causing performance issues on the page.
Service Provider Activity Note
- The error causing the Service Provider Name to not be present in Service Provider Activity Notes where a Service Provider has been edited or deleted has been resolved.
Financial Overview Report
- Corrected the issue causing the YTD Beginning Balance in the Reserve Rolls Forward section of the Financial Overview Report to calculate incorrectly.
Homeowner Invoice
- An Assessment Rule will no longer be required when generating a Homeowner Invoice if the assessment charge has already been applied to the homeowner’s ledger.
Inspection Report
- The Inspection Report will now show the step status the violation was approved for, rather than the current step status of the violation.
Generating Statement
- The error causing generated eStatements to be generated for all mailing addresses instead of just the Primary Mailing Address has been corrected.
Financial Overview
- Users will no longer be able to save/update the page if there is an invalid GL Account present.
Page Per Page
- The error causing letters, coupons, and/or statements failing to send to Page Per Page via the API if the originating author of the action item didn't have an email has been corrected.
