Budget Status by Year Export
Description:
The following columns have been added to the Budget Status by Year Export:
- Company: Displays the Company Name that the association is tied to.
- Fiscal Start Month: Displays the month from the Starting Month of Fiscal Year setting configured in Association > Settings > Accounting.
Impact:
These additional columns will allow you to better utilize this report in situations where there are multiple companies present without sacrificing your ability to track the different Fiscal Start Months that may be present among all your different associations.
Truist OAuth Notification
Description:
A Roles to Alert option has been added to the System > System Setting > Banking tab for the Truist integration.
- Multiple roles can be added to the Roles to Alert list.
- Each role will be notified and receive an alert on their Home page when the Truist API Read Access needs to be renewed.
- Note: The Roles to Alert field will be set to System Administrator by default.
Impact:
If you're one of users taking advantage of Truist's integration you no longer have to rely on Vantaca to inform you directly that your OAuth has expired. Previously, our Monitoring Team performed this task but now they'll be able to focus on more critical issues that may be occurring.
Proposed Budget Spread Reports
Description:
The Proposed Budget Spread Report and Proposed Budget Spread Report (w/ Notes) have been added.
- Each report will display data based on the Next Fiscal Year Budget data found on Accounting > Budget.
- Each report will contain the following report rows:
- [prior fiscal year] Budget
- [fiscal year] Budget
- Variance
- The (w/ Notes) version of the report will have a Notes row directly under Variance.
- Note: If a GL Account is included in the Proposed Fiscal Year Budget, data will be pulled from the Accounting > Budget screen for Monthly Values, which will tie to Monthly Allocations, and the Total, which will tie to the Annual Amount.
- Each report will need to be enabled in Settings > Roles > Reports > Financial to use.
Impact:
These new report types will provide more focused insights for your homeowners and board members when presenting proposed changes in your association's upcoming fiscal year budget.
Transfer Funds
Description:
The Accounting > Transfer Fund/Recurring Transfer form has received the following changes:
- Expanded the default amount of GL line items that will display by default from 3 to 6.
- Added a Maximize Window button to make the form full screen.
Impact:
We've given you the ability to view more than three GL Account line items at a time! The full screen option will be greatly appreciated by your accountants by being able to see all the relevant activity, resulting in greater accuracy when working on the larger than normal transfers.
Proposed Annual Budget Comparison Reports
Description:
The Proposed Annual Budget Comparison Report and Proposed Annual Budget Comparison (w/ Notes) Report have been added.
- Each report will display the current Budget set up by GL Account as compared to the Budget set up for the next fiscal year.
- Month
- Per Unit
- The (w/ Notes) version of the report will have a Notes section that pulls data from the Notes column on the Accounting > Budget screen per the GL account for the Proposed Fiscal Budget.
- Each report will need to be enabled in Settings > Roles > Reports > Financial to use.
Impact:
These budget comparison reports are aimed to help you provide additional context when working with your budget teams and board members. The Notes version of the report will allow you to enter any relevant information about why the budget numbers may have changed from the prior year.
Cash Disbursement Report
Description:
The Homeowner Payment Adjustment Refund Type will now be included on both Cash Disbursement Report versions with the following information:

- Homeowner Name
- [First] and [Last Name]
- Second Homeowner Name if available
- [First] and [Last Name]
- Property Address
- [street number][address 1][address 2][unit][city][state][zip]
- Homeowner Name
Impact:
This new report provides a quick and easy view of what homeowners or property received a refund along with their complete property information.
Merge Tags
Description:
The Next Assessment Combined Merge Tag has been added.
- The following criteria must be met for the merge tag to be used correctly:
- Assessment Charges
- Active Assessments
- Assessment is marked as Primary
- Upcoming Assessment Charge Dates match.
- Note: If multiple assessments fulfill the requirements, their charge amounts will be added together, and the total will be displayed.
- The field will pull from the Accounting > Bank Register > Interest type.
Impact:
The current Next Assessment Merge tag only has the capability to include a single assessment charge. This new tag fills that need and will hopefully help you provide less confusing information for your homeowners when presenting them with their assessment information.
Bank Register
Description:
A confirmation pop-up will now appear when users attempt to delete a Post Expense and Invoice Item in the Bank Register after identifying an instance where a client was unaware that only the Payment would be deleted, and not the expense.
- The pop-up will display the following message:
- "The following records will be deleted:
Bank Register: [description]
AP Ledger: [description]
If you need to reverse the expense, void the invoice from the bank register. Do you wish to continue?" - Note: If multiple AP Ledger items will be deleted, each one will be listed.

Impact:
We added this confirmation message to ensure that our users have a clear understanding of what items they're opting to delete from the Bank Register.
Mobile App
Description:
The Inspection Map will now display different pin colors to indicate the following:
- Violations: displayed via Red Pin and address callout
- ARC Requests: displayed via Green Pin and address callout
- Note: If a property has both a Violation and an ARC Request, the Violation indication will take precedence.

Impact:
These color coded pins provide a quick means for you to identify which properties need to be inspected straight from the Inspection Map.
Vantaca Corrections
ACH Auto Draft
- Resolved the error causing homeowners to be redirected to an error page in the Portal after clicking Enroll when their association has the Association > Settings > ACH Auto Draft Day set to the Last Day of Month.
Merge Tags
- The issue causing the Next Business Day merge tag to be unavailable in the Vantaca Template Manager and on Action Steps has been resolved.
Responder Email
- The error causing the default auto-response for the Responder to be included along with the configured custom response has been corrected.
Auto Reconciliation
- Corrected the error causing Pacific Western Bank Accounts to not auto-reconcile their bank items as expected.
Association List
- Resolved the issue causing the Equal To filter to incorrectly convert to UTC when applied to the Fiscal Year-End
Lockbox Payments
- Resolved the error causing all payments included in a lockbox to be moved to a homeowner's Bankruptcy Action Item when attempting to move a single lockbox payment.
- Lockboxes will no longer allow a negative amount to be committed when splitting a payment to an account with a negative balance.
AR Aging Reports
- The Over 120 column and section of the pie chart has been removed from all AR Aging Report versions.
- Resolved the text wrapping issues occurring on all AR Aging Report versions.
My Action Items
- Resolved the issue causing the wrong CCR Type to display on the Vantaca Mobile App when stepping the violation action item.
Charge Tags
- The error causing Charge Tags to not display for assessments that have a $0.00 charge and no other upcoming assessments has been resolved.
Bank Register
- Resolved the error causing the Bank Register grid to not reset the page number after applying date filters.
Violation Report
- Corrected the issue causing the Violation Report to time out unexpectedly.
Budget Report
- The error causing a large page break to automatically be applied when downloading the
Budget Report as PDF has been resolved.
Modern Portal
- Resolved an error specific to SenEarthCo users that was causing an error message to appear after users had made a payment, even though the payment had been made successfully.
